Get to Know Us

Kalimba is a short film directed by Robbie J. Atkinson. It is a culmination of her prior commercial film knowledge as well as newly-learned elements obtained from the Sundance Institute's online courses where Atkinson studied under Tessa Blake [American Horror Story] and Owen Egerton [Blood Fest].

Kalimba is a segment of the feature script [of the same name] that she co-wrote with her late Father, Rob K. Atkinson and  was inspired by films like “The Conjuring” and “Hereditary”.

The goal for this proof-of-concept is to attract backing and resources for Atkinson to direct the feature film. Click here to be directed our Contact Form to reach out to Atkinson regarding supporting her project.

This short is her professional narrative directorial debut.
